What is the usage of should?
Should is a modal auxiliary verb to express moral obligation, advice or suggestion, possibility, or imagination. Should is used as an auxiliary verb with singular and plural subjects.
Should का प्रयोग modal auxiliary verb के रूप में नैतिक दायित्व, सलाह या सुझाव, संभावना, कल्पना को व्यक्त करने के लिए करते हैं। Should का प्रयोग auxiliary verb के रूप singular तथा plural subjects के साथ होता है।

- You should eat an apple every day.
- We should go home on weekends.
- I should eat vegetables.
- She should not pluck the flowers.
- They should work hard to earn money.

Should is used in those sentences which end with words like ‘चाहिए’, ‘should’, ‘करना चाहिए’, ‘करूं’ या ‘ए’ etc. Such sentences convey suggestion, advice, duty or obligation, possibility, and supposition. Should is used as the past tense of shall. (Should का प्रयोग उन वाक्यों में होता है जिनके अंत में ‘चाहिए‘, ‘करना चाहिए‘, ‘करूं’, ‘ए‘ आदि शब्द आते हैं। ऐसे वाक्यों से suggestion, advice, duty or obligation, possibility तथा supposition का बोध कराते हैं। Shall के Past Tense के रूप में should का प्रयोग होता है।)
