1. Present Indefinite Tense
कोई शाश्वत सत्य, किसी की आदत या हमेशा होने वाली कोई क्रिया व्यक्त करने के लिए सामान्य वर्तमान या वर्तमान अनिश्चित काल का प्रयोग होता है।
We use present indefinite tense for habits, facts, universal truth, truth, nature routine, daily events, repeated work, near future.
पहचान: हिंदी वाक्य के अर्थात क्रिया के अंत में – ता है, ते हैं, ती है इनमें से कोई भी अक्षरसमूह हो तो वह वाक्य सामान्य वर्तमानकाल का होगा।
- Structure For Affirmative Sentence: Subject + verb1 / verb5(s/es) + object + other words.
Example: वह गूगल में काम करता है।
He works in Google. - Structure For Negative Sentence: Subject + do/does + verb1 (1st form of the verb) + not + object + other words.

2. Past Indefinite Tense
भूतकाल में (किसी निश्चित समय पर) कोई क्रिया हुई या कोई घटना घटी यह बताने के लिए इस काल का प्रयोग होता है।
पहचान: हिंदी वाक्य के अर्थात क्रिया के अंत में – या, यी, ये शब्द अथवा आ, ई, ए इनमें से कोई भी अक्षरसमूह हो तो वह वाक्य सामान्य भूतकाल का होगा।

3. Future Indefinite Tense
भविष्यकाल में कोई क्रिया होगी या कर्ता कोई क्रिया करेगा इस अर्थ को व्यक्त करने के लिए सामान्य भविष्यकाल का प्रयोग होता है।
पहचान: हिंदी वाक्य के अर्थात क्रिया के अंत में – गा, गी, गे इनमें से कोई भी अक्षर हो तो वह वाक्य सामान्य भूतकाल का होगा। इसमें क्रिया करेगा का भाव होता है।

पहचान: प्रेजेंट कंटीन्यूअस टेंस, इन हिंदी के वाक्यों का अंत होता है, चल रही है, रही है, रही हूं, रही हूं, रही हूं जैसे शब्द होते हैं।
